Re: Sawfish hangs at configuration (More info)
OK, I did the apt-get source -b one package at a time. rep went fine, but
rep-gtk craps out with the message:
gcc -shared gnomelib-support.lo gnomelib-glue.lo -L/usr/lib
/usr/lib/libgnome.so /usr/lib/libgnomesupport.so /usr/lib/libesd.so
/usr/lib/libaudiofile.so -lm -ldb /usr/lib/libglib.so -ldl -Wl,-soname
-Wl,lib.so -o gnome/.libs/lib.so
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [gnome/lib.la] Error 1
rm gnomelib-glue.c gdk-glue.c gtk-glue.c
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/rep-gtk-0.15'
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2
Build command 'cd rep-gtk-0.15 && dpkg-buildpackage -b -uc' failed.
E: Child process failed
then sawfish-gnome craps out because it wants rep-gtk. Let me know if you
can help.
