The Bioinformatics Group next door just bought an Athlon from http://www.dnuk.com (well it's in the UK) and installed Suse 7.2 (their preferred Distri) on it. They come with preinstalled RedHat. But what you could do is have a look at their data sheet and online order formular to see what kind of componentsthey use and go the vendoer next door to order the same machine.
BTW the Bioinformatics are very happy with their new toy. Frank
