/dev/sr0 is a symlink to /dev/scd0. symlinks won't have the numbers,
and their perms are irrelevant.
Check
ls -l /dev/scd0
IIRC the numbers are shown in place of the owner/group. I don't see
any on my system since I'm using devfs instead of a static /dev.
