Kernel panic on startup: 'Try to kill idle task'
Hello everybuddy! (or so ;-D)
I have a big problem.
Today I tryed to boost a (SuSE, I admit) linux box.
But since then it doesn't boot.
It just hangs on bootup with the kernel panik 'Tryed to kill the idle
task'.Unfortunatly, I have not the faintest idea what else I can do.
Until now I tried the following:
o Undo everything I tampered with (start hdparm, added "append="
command in lilo.conf)
o Reinstalled the kernel
Can anybody help me and give me help where I can get information from
(/var/log/?? perhaps)?
Thanx in advanc
