Security updates won't be issued for woody on security.debian.org until
it becomes stable.

So it should never be used for testing and maybe for woody in the future?

I don't quite understand your sentence. "woody" is the codename for the
current "testing" distribution, and testing will never have a security
updates tree (unless somebody volunteers to set up a team to handle
woody security updates, but that hasn't happened yet). Debian 3.0,
a.k.a. woody, will have security updates when it's released, at which
point there will be a new testing branch.

Does that answer your question?

Sorry if my question was confusing. I believe your answer is yes.

Thanks,

Paul
