I agree with this and i would prefer them here as well however about
6 months ago i had a problem where the routes would not apply when
the card was up and neither i nor anyone on the list at the time
could figure out why. Some kind soul offered me the bootmisc.sh
advice which worked at the time and got me out of a bind.
Your question appeared to be of simmilar concern so in the true
spirit i shared the knowledge. :)
if you look for the thread in the archives about 6-12 months ago, it
should answer some more of your queries.
