It's perfectly simple to figure out what it is in cases where nobody is
trying to be sneaky. Just look at the mail headers. Particularly the set
of lines that begin with "Received:". These are in reverse-chronological
order, so the last one is the oldest. These repeat messages today all
say "Received: by mail2.secnoc.de", no matter who wrote the message.
This domain secnoc.de is where the messages are coming from. Their mail
server, or somebody's mail client or filter, is screwing up and looping
the messages back to Debian's list server.

It's easy to fake these headers if you're trying to be sneaky, but in
the absence of deception, these headers tell the story.
