Why do you want to do this? Is it just a matter of getting faster access to the latest Ximian stuff, without waiting for it to get packaged for Debian?
That's one reason, and the other is just out of curiosity.I'm a die-hard Debian user simply because of the package management system -- I'll never use another distro. However, I prefer Ximian's packaged version of GNOME over Debian's (I hope I don't get flamed over this statement), and I was wondering how long Ximian would continue supporting their apt sources over migrating completely to Red Carpet.
