If you mean Contents-i386.gz and so on, no, it's not really practical to
maintain such a package. auto-apt has functions to do it though:

  [cjwatson@arborlon ~]$ sudo auto-apt update
  put: 819117 files, 992054 entries
  put: 844970 files, 1027264 entries
  Downloading http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable Contents-i386.gz ...done
  put: 1704106 files, 2061634 entries
  Downloading http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian-non-US/dists/unstable/non-US Contents-i386.gz ...done
  put: 1732516 files, 2092415 entries
put: 1751647 files, 2120702 entries done (153 sec)
  [cjwatson@arborlon ~]$ auto-apt search usr/lib/man-db
  usr/lib/man-db/ doc/man-db

(You need to remember to leave out the initial / on filenames, otherwise
they don't match anything in Contents.)
