I've had some custom Xdefaults settings for NEdit for like five years now, and as of last week, suddenly they are not being picked up. This was long after the upgrade to the latest NEdit a few weeks ago, and I think it coincided with my upgrade to KDE 2.2.2 (which I use as my desktop environment). My ~/.Xdefaults remains unchanged, but it is ignored both when launching NEdit from a menu and from the command-line. Also, I don't use the KDE "emulate QT" setting that changes the Xdefaults.
