I'm using Earthlink, started with Netcom in 1997. The service works
well for me, dialup, DSL, and wireless are available. GNU/Linux support
is relatively sparse, though you'll find some support docs (not all of
which are sufficiently misleading to be worthless), and I've actually
started getting a few support requests passed to a relatively
linux-literate technician.

Most people report best results from small local ISPs. Advantages of
Earthlink are a nationwide network -- you can dial in from just about
anywhere. Pay an extra $1 for each hour you're running a dual
connection.

Peace.
