No, xlibs conflicts with old versions of xlib6g, not the current
version. Upgrade both and you'll be fine. In woody, xlib6g is just a
dummy package, and xlibs provides the real X libraries.
(I assume you're running X 4 already? If not, you should do the full
upgrade rather than a partial one.)
