The only way it would is either by a volunteer effort make a portable .NET
VM, or if the money M$ rakes in from services far outweighs OS sales so they
don't care anymore. I believe the former is already happening, ie. mono by
those nuts at Ximian. Choice is good though.

I agree, so we started this locally (http://opag.ca). I think the
combination of Python and wxPython already looks as cool as any Java app and
it's faster.
