svga, via apollo kle-133, KinetiZ7L
Hello there,
I have got KinetiZ7L m/board w/ VIA Apollo c/set (VT8361)
and I cannot set svga 3.3.6 for higher freq. than 70Hz though my Hyundai
V770 is 1024x768 @ 85Hz capable. Inbuilt agp gets recognised as Trident
CyberBlade/i1, luckily, there does not seem be any via support yet.
Best results I can make are..
1024x768 70Hz 56,5 Khz .. good
800x600 56Hz 35,15Khz .. flickers
640x480 60Hz 31,5 Khz .. flickers
Even when I pick mode lines with higher freq. I either get out of sync
or I end up around 60Hz.
Any ideas? Thanx in advance. BTW what is the status of VIA agp support
in potato, config-2.2.19pre17 says..
CONFIG_AGP=m
CONFIG_AGP_VIA=y
x.out follows..
