Hi group - I have seen this asked (and answered) years ago, but am unable to reproduce the solution. If I telnet to a new (Debian unstable) box, I get: Connected to junior.avondel.nl Escape character is '^]'. right away, but it takes almost a minute to continue to the login prompt. I vaguely recall it had to do with /etc/hosts or /etc/resolve, but now clue to the exact solution. Any suggestion much appreciated. -- Erik van der Meulen <e.van.der.meulen@avondel.nl>
