$ md5sum /var/cache/apt/doc-linux-html*.deb

Edit /var/lib/dpkg/available.

Alternatively, it was reported that deleting the MD5sum field for the
package works as well.

There's a bug filed, and was a lame message/excuse about how the bug
was really caused by a buffer overflow in dpkg (geez, maybe fix that?).
Something to do with how doc-linux-html is sooooo big compared to other
packages... (I dunno...).
