X can't init font path elements?

Hello.

I have a little problem with a sid box here: since 4.1.0-8, it looks
like X can't work with some of my fonts.

It complains about:

Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi, removing from
list!
Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc, removing from
list!
Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled,
removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc, removing from
list!

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

And stops.


So, I've checked /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and it has:

       FontPath        "unix/:7100"                    # local fontserver
       # if the local font server has problems, we can fall
       # back on these
       #FontPath      "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1"
       FontPath       "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo"
								
I also reinstalled xfonts-base, xfonts-75dpi, xfonts-base-transcoded,
xfonts-75dpi-transcoded, xfonts-scalable, and still no luck.

I am now gradually upgrading packages to 4.1.0-9 (I only didn't upgrade
the xserver ,xclients and xlibs yet, but I already upgraded all fonts,
the font srever and xutils), but the same thing happens.

Anyway... Any ideas?
