Re: lpr doesn't work under woody
hi there
I am mantainer of the gnulpr packages
this means in particular 'printtool' and 'lpr-ppd'
I am not currently using 'lprng' or 'cups'
the upstream developers told me that printtool should
generate an /etc/printcap that works with 'lprng'
so I would like it most, if this was really the case
unfortunately I dont have an Epson parallel printer... but we'll see into it
can you run the command
$ /usr/sbin/pconf_detect -m PPORT -i 0,1
as root and send me the verbatim output?
thanks
a.
