Re: JAVA has killed my browsers

Remove the plugin from the plugin directory. Worked for me

Thus my question is two-fold

A. Obviously, since the programs won't boot I can't go to preferences and
turn off Java support. How do I manually turn off java support in Netscape
4.76 and Mozilla 0.9.4 so I can at least boot the programs and have
non-java enabled browsers? I did look in prefs.js and couldn't find the right key to change.

B. Is there a version of libjavaplugin_oji.so that would support both
browsers or where do I at least find a version that will support Mozilla? ( Current version of libjavaplugin dated Oct 24 2000 )

Netscape v. 4.76
Mozilla v. 0.9.4
