Woody PCMCIA network install

I'm not sure if this the right place to report woody installation
problems, but here goes anyway.

Debian Newbie here.

I installed from the woody floppies of last week. I selected a PCMCIA
network install, and configured by dhcp. Everything went swell until I
rebooted for stage 2. At that point the ethernet card was not brought
up.

>From memory, here is what I did:

go to a different virtual terminal.

add eth0 to /etc/network/interfaces, i.e.

    auto lo eth0
    iface lo inet loopback
    iface eth0 inet dhcp

start pcmcia services

      /etc/init.d/pcmcia start

rejigger the ethernet card.

ifdown eth0
ifup eth0

After I installed pcmcia-cs from tasksel (i.e. the laptop task),
and overwrote all of the configuration files (i.e. always choose I),
then the card is configured fine.

Hope this helps somebody,
