Hey,

Your going to want to upgrade to the newest X through debian. Then from there you need to download the latest nvidia drivers from www.nvidia.com. Or you can use the standard nv drivers from the latest version of X (but then you won't have 3d).

The nvidia drivers from nvidia consist of a kernel modules, and a GLX package.

Then you need to setup your XF86Config-4 file. If you need a sample one, mail me privatly, and I will send you mine.
