in the office the box has gdm installed and goes into ximian gnome by default, but now i installed vncserver and when i open a vnc window i get a normal X with wm but without desktop envirronement. how can i make it load gnome-session by default ? i tried to put 'exec gnome session &' in .vnc/xstartup but that doesnt seem to do it. any other ideas ? bruno
