Are you running it on potato or woody? I tried running it
on potato after making a .deb out of the available rpm. 
It installs but when I start it up, I get the following error
message:

Qt: Locales not supported on X server
qstring_to_xtp result code -2
qstring_to_xtp result code -2
qstring_to_xtp result code -2
Unhandled exception:

ORACLE_HOME environment variable not set
qstring_to_xtp result code -2


It runs fine on Red Hat 6.1, though.
