 1  apt-get install ibritish (or your language)
 
 
 2  edit -> preferences(customize) -> Lang Opts -> Spell Checker
 
   Spell command:
    ispell
   use alternative language: british
   use personal dictionary : /usr/lib/ispell/british.hash
 
 3 edit -> spellchecker -> Spellchecker Options
     use alternate language:
      british
    use alternate personal dictionary : /usr/lib/ispell/british.hash
