Perhaps manually installing the libgtk1.2 first will alleviate your
problem.

Apt is doing it's job x.y.z != x.y.z-4 and your package insists on =
x.y.z, not >= x.y.z.

Testing is going to give you problems like this from time to time (at
least when I ran it before I moved to unstable).
