Thanks; I tried that, but with no success. It seems that in the version of
IMAP that comes with Debian 2.2 (IMAP 4.7c), it is not possible to set a
user's mail-subdirectory. It may be the case that later releases support it,
but it doesn't seem likely. According to the Debian state of woody, the same
version (4.7c) is used for that as well.

Oh well, back to the drawing board ...
