Apparently my new Laptops video card ( ATI
Rage Mobile M2) Is supported using Mach64. However Debians (2.2R3) install
routing seems to leave my Laptop with a hanging Black Screen. So does anyone
else have any ideas as to what is causing the Laptop Screen to go a pure black,
evidently I am running X as changing Consoles and back flickers the display on
screen. Also the Ctrl-Alt-Backspace kills X well enough. I am running X >4.04
and have done the installs straight from the Web ( all 4 hours worth of it).
XF86Setup does the same with XF86_VGA16 and
XF86_SVGA
Same for xserver-configure and anXious
Any Suggestions Appreciated.
