Yep.
Do this, but make sure you don't reboot before this has completed.
mv /var /vr
mv /vr /usr/var
ln -s /usr/var /var
There you go.
Read the manual pages for these commands and make sure you know what
is happening before you run those three commands, like with all
commands you see anywhere...
