Setting locale failed
Dear Debianers,
When I apt-get install some packages I get the following message:
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LANGUAGE = (unset),
LC_ALL = (unset),
LANG = "en.ISO8859-1"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
what does it mean? How can I fix it? I didn't find any man page regarding
locale...
Thanks in advance!
Marcelo
