Installation problems on a Blue Note II Labtop with Debian 2.2 and woody
Hi,
I've a problem with the installation on a Blue Note II Labtop.
I know this is old Hardware but hey it's Linux ;-)
When I boot up with the Debian 2.2r0 floppys I run into the
following error:
VM: do_try_to_free_pages failed for modprobe...
When I try the woody floppys (from the LinuxTag Beta Edition) I get
this one:
VM: killing process modprobe
modprobe: modrpbe: Can't open depencies file /lib/modules/2.2.19/modules.dep
(no such file or directory)
init started: BusyBox v0.43 (etc. bla)
NET4: Unix Domain sockets 1.0 for LInux NET4.0.
Any ideas?
SuSE 6.3 installation runs fine but I want a "real" GNU/Linux
Distribution ;-)
