Strangely enough, I am running a 2.2.19 stock kernel and I get a very similar
error preventing me from connecting from home. This was after I had
apt-get updated to testing on Saturday June 30th. I certainly get the tcsetattr
error above, but not the "Couldn't attach tty to PPP unit 0", though
I don't have my log file handy as it is at home.....

Any thoughts ?
