The file where the configuration of file is written is
at .pinerc in your home directory ... It is easiest to 
set up things through the pine Setup options ... 

In case you want to set it by hand just edit the lines 
in that file. The relevant lines from my .pinerc which 
gives bish@nde.vsnl.net.in in outgoing mail is here:

# Sets domain part of From: and local addresses in outgoing mail.
