I have read somewhere that one can do what you want using unixodbc.  I
have compiled it, but did not have time to try and setup Staroffice
using it.  There is a document on the web describing how to so this.
I have downloaded it after a search on www.google.com but did not
write down the url.  The name of the document is star-postgrs.ps.  I
also have a pdf-version but I am not sure whether I produced it using
ps2pdf or whether I downloaded it as a pdf-document.
