I use a Cabletron RoamAbout 802.11 DS with sid.  It should work fine
with stable as well, though you might do well to get newer drivers.  The
drivers for wireless PCMCIA cards are distributed as source since you need 
to build specific modules for your kernel.

In fact, you might want to take a look at the driver source package to
see what other cards/chipsets they list as supported.  The Debian 
package is called 'pcmcia-source'.
