Starting X through INIT and kdm

Hi all

Until now i start X with the startx command. I'd like to set it up that init 
X starts with the kdm interface. How do i do this on debian. I think that has 
somethiing to do with the alternatives System...
Do i have to make a script by myself?
Pls give some hints :-)))
