problem with sources.llist possibly???

Hi,
    I am a relative newbie to Linux.  I get the following error when i run
'apt-get install autoconf'

Err http://http.us.debian.org woody/main m4 1.4-12
  404 Not Found
Err http://http.us.debian.org woody/main autoconf 2.13-26
  404 Not Found
Failed to fetch
http://http.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/m4/m4_1.4-12_i386.deb
  404 Not Found
Failed to fetch
http://http.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/a/autoconf/autoconf_2.13-26_all.deb
  404 Not Found
E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe try with --fix-missing?

I am thinking my sources.list needs some changes...
What changes if any do i have to make to my sources.list/ or if have to do
something else.


these are the uncommented lines in my sources.list

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian woody main contrib non-free
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian woody main contrib non-free
