Im my case, I *need* to be in pace with the bureaucracy of my institution, which 
means that sometimes I have to rum  programs written specifically for windoz. 
This applies, at last here in Brazil, to some goverment programs as well. As 
you can see, some people is forced to have windoze roaring on their pc's.
