Well, I use "intern."mydomain.org (as you can see in the header of this 
mail ;-) ). Since there may well be exposures of your internal names in 
the public (again, look at the headers) it´s best to make it clear from 
the beginning IMHO. If you would get _very_ meta this may also be a 
case of "security through obscurity" if you just try to hide something 
;-)
