Try this in smb.conf:
[global]
.....
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
load printers = yes
print command = lpr -r -oraw -P%p %s
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
.....
and install the required printer driver on the windows machines.
