Modifying /etc/debian_version
What are the possible side-effects of modifying /etc/debian_version?
I just upgraded to woody (more on *that* later--picked a fine time
to do it) and noticed that /etc/debian_version now contains
testing/unstable instead of 2.2.
Would it be a bad idea to change it to "woody"?
Might I suggest a value like 2.2.90 (for an expected version of 2.3)
or 2.90 (for an expected version 3.0) or just woody if the expected
version is unknown in woody. Similarly, for sid.
