Hello !
Since php does not work on potatoe/alpha and postgres recommends
upgrading to the latest version (which dependes on a newer glibc then
potatoe has) I decided to upgrade to unstable.
Putting unstable into my sources.list didn't do much so I changed it
to woody.
Then I ran
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade dist-upgrade
After a long list of packages I get:
11 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 172 not
upgraded.
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
debianutils: PreDepends: libc6.1 (>= 2.2.1) but 2.1.3-13 is to be installed
E: Internal Error, InstallPackages was called with broken packages!
Unfortuantely both php and postgres are still to come. How can I
bypass this problem properly ?
Regards
Helge
