Mmh, not quite what you asked for, but anyway: it should be
significantly easier to hook up your old harddrive to your new PC and
"dd" the old partitions to the new ones (which don't even have to be
the same size but can be larger). Check out "man dd" and "info dd" and
remember that partitions and whole drives are represented as files in
a Unix system. You would still need Tom's RTBT or a Debian rescue
disk, but you can forget about the setting up the networking stuff.
