fake packages?

    Hey guys. How does this work?

lupus:~# apt-get install latex
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Note, selecting tetex-bin instead of latex

    I don't see a package called latex in the cache, but apt-get knew to grab
tetex-bin. Where does it get that information?
