Where does elm store read messages?

Hi there, folks,

had a bit of a goof-up today. I normally use pine to do all my mail, but
wanted to check something with elm today. Unfortunately, elm moved all my
read mail out of the inbox. Where does elm move these, and is it possible
to re-integrate them into pine mail folders?
