Do you use WinPoet on the Windows PC?  You probably need pppoe from
Roaring Penguin.  I would just recommend the Debian pppoe package, but
it doesn't have all the scripts you'll want, last I looked.

What I did was install the Debian pppoe package, then install the pppoe
tarball from Roaring Penguin.
