Well, I'm new to Linux, too, and the first time I tried to install
Debian, it was really a nerve-tracking process just getting the
system nearly I wanted it to have. But day for day I really
appreciate the transparency and full control of the system.

Sadly I still have to run Windows, because there are no
substitutions under Linux for many programs I'm using under
Windows. If there would be, no one could hold me from freeing that
space, Windows occupies on my disk. Just hoping this will change
(soon)!
