Resetting user's gnome to initial state

How do I initialize a gnome user to the state of
a new user?

Is there a skel directory for gnome and for enlightenment?

If I delete the ~/.gnome directory will it get rebuilt?

Set up another user and copy everything over?

Some other approach?
