I converted a RedHat rp-pppoe (rp-pppoe 2.3-2) to a Debian package
using "Alien" and I am using it under kernel 2.4.0 and it works fine.
I have installed the PPPOE module too but have not tried it yet, so
I am still using rp-pppoe. I need to read the docs for the module so
I can switch.
