    Yup, DNS isn't set up. 

    man resolv.conf

    Here's mine as an example.

msoulier@lupus msoulier]$ cat /etc/resolv.conf
domain rchrd1.on.wave.home.com
nameserver 24.2.9.33
nameserver 24.2.9.35
