Thanks. I try the command and I get something like: "couldn't find the
kernel version the module was compiled for" and "insmod
/lib/modules/2.2.18/misc/ac97.o" failed."

I'm using a recompiled 2.2.18 kernel. However, I can't find an AC97
module/option in this kernel. Any ideas?
